Course Overview

This 3-day session is focused on equipping you with administrative training, information on how to leverage Numara FootPrints 5.0 and how to extend your web-based issue management into more activities throughout your organization, including sample project configurations to give you ideas on how to use Numara FootPrints to track special projects, development tracking, recruitment efforts, and more. This seminar will also address:

  • Numara FootPrints advanced features
  • What's new in Numara FootPrints 5.0
  • Numara FootPrints new Dynamic Address Book Link for integration with Microsoft Exchange/Active Directory and other LDAP address books
  • The new, add-on modules for Asset Management, Advanced Live eSupport and Software Change Management/Version Control for integration with Microsoft Exchange/Active Directory and other LDAP address books
    • Numara FootPrints Asset Management helps you automatically identify, locate and report on hardware and software throughout your organization and on the PC of the user you're assisting.
    • Numara FootPrints Advanced Live eSupport gives you integrated remote control, remote diagnostics, system management and desktop tools.
    • Numara FootPrints Software Change Management/Version Control enables you to fully integrate the information flow between initial problem reporting, help desk/support center activity and software development.
  • And, there will be a special "Inside Numara FootPrints" session with Mark Krieger, the President and Technical Director of UniPress Software, that will cover database design, Numara FootPrints internal database API and more.

The seminar will be held from 9 am to 5 pm Eastern Time from Tuesday, February 5 - Thursday, February 7, 2002.

Seminar Format

This seminar is completely hands-on. Workstations will be provided for hands-on labs, covering topics like installation, project configuration, email setup, add-on modules, and more.

The Numara FootPrints v5 Training Seminar is designed both for customers getting started with Numara FootPrints, and experienced users. Some of the appropriate job titles of attendees include IT Manager, Help Desk Manager, Customer Support/Call Center Manager, Development Manager, System Administrator, Project Manager, Help Desk Engineer, and Customer Support/Call Center Agent.

The cost for this comprehensive, 3-day Numara FootPrints seminar is $1,995. per person. Discounts are available if more than 1 person attends from the same organization:

2nd Attendee: $1,800

3rd Attendee: $1,700

4th+ Attendees: $1,600 per additional attendee

Location

Our training center is located in Edison, New Jersey on Route 27 – less than an hour from New York City, 1-1/2 hours from the Philadelphia area and ½ hour from Newark Airport.  Directions and contact information will be provided.

Meals
