• PowerTerm InterConnect is the ultimate for IBM AS/400 and Mainframe connectivity. It includes PowerGUI, giving legacy applications an instant 3-D look and feel with no effort. Additionally, PowerTerm 3270 performs file transfer with IND$FILE. (FTP Client included.)
• PowerTerm InterConnect supports the Novell NetWare for SAA Gateway and the Microsoft SNA Gateway.
• PowerTerm InterConnect supports the TN3270 and TN3270E (SNA over TCP/IP) protocol, as well as TN5250 and APPC.

PowerTerm's design allows it to have very great performance coupled with small program size. For networking, it supports both TCP sockets and Windows sockets (WinSock), as well as Pathworks Decnet (CTerm) and Pathworks LAT. For serial connection it supports RS-232 (both direct and via modem), INT14 and BAPI, as well as PPP/SLIP.

And PowerTerm's programmable hotspots let you create pushbuttons on the screen and link them to any key sequence.

PowerTerm's high-level API lets it be used directly from many other environments, such as C++, Visual Basic, and PowerBuilder, and it supports EHLLAPI.

Customizations include graphical drag & drop dynamic changing of keyboard mapping for internationalization and other purposes, function keys, cursor style, scrolling, color selections and more. All parameters, even for multiple types of sessions, may be saved for later use.

PowerTerm's ease of use features include Microsoft Windows menu bars, multi-mode copy and paste between host and Windows, toolbar and tool tips, full context-sensitive help and on-line manual.

PowerTerm includes the PowerScript scripting language (with more than 100 commands) and macro recorder for automation of repetitive tasks such as host login. PowerScript includes string functions including substring, index, concatenation; file functions include read, write, copy, delete and directory. Additionally, scripts can perform DDE communication. With these facilities, users can create scripts to control terminal sessions, perform file transfer and other operations.

Maintenance, Upgrades and Technical Support

PowerTerm is under constant development and we encourage customer feedback. Our full-time, highly qualified technical support group is always available to assist customers with problems and questions. (We know that almost all software sellers praise their 'highly qualified technical support group'. In our case, we mean it.)

Here are our services:

• Update Site. All purchasers of PowerTerm have 3 months access to the Update Site. During that period, they can take new copies of the program at any time.
• Support. All purchasers of PowerTerm have access to our technical Support Department with questions or problems. Send them an email or phone them at +732-287-2100.
• Maintenance Contract. Sites with 10 or more copies may purchase an annual Maintenance Contract at a price of 15% of the software cost. The Contract will assure access to new versions throughout the year, and even more access to the Support Department. (If the Contract is purchased at the same time as the software, the initial Term is 18 months, rather than 12.)
• Upgrades. Customers who do not have Maintenance Contracts whose 3 months access to the Update Site has expired can purchase an upgrade to the latest version at a 40% discount. (They also get another 3 months access to the Update Site.)
